It’s located at the front of the trailer and will keep you and your truck safe. The landing gear consists of two legs that can support the heavy weight of the trailer. The leg with the internal gearbox and the crank is called the driving leg, and the other is called the driven leg. The two legs are connected by a central transmission rod known as a cross shaft.
